EDIFICIO AQUILINO BARROS

Foi construído no inicio do século, cerca de 1903, por operários vindos da Espanha. O madeirame (Pinho de Riga) utilizado no teto e no assoalho foram importados da Espanha. Funcionaram nele até a década de 1930: A Prefeitura Municipal, o Fórum de Justiça, o Correio e o Posto fiscal Federal. Nele despacharam, dentre outros os seguintes Prefeitos: João da Paz Serudo Martins, Francisco Olímpio de Oliveira, Isaac Peres e Abílio Nery. Em 1930, foi homenageado no Salão do Edifício, o General Juarez Távora que veio a Itacoatiara explicar as razões da Revolução de 1930 e foi saudado por Cassiano Secundo. Funcionaram Também, nesse edifício a Farmácia Cruz Vermelha e a Fundação Sesp. Na década de 40 sediou o Amazonas Futebol Clube e na década de 60 o Penarol Atlético Clube, atualmente funciona a Papelaria Vitoria e o Bazar Alan.
