Nele funcionou o Posto Álvaro Ozório com a Enfermaria Lafayette de Freitas e a Prophylaxia Rural e foi Hotel Municipal nos idos de 1940/1960, localizado na esquina da rua Adamastor de Figueiredo com a av. Rui Barbosa, atualmente no referido Edifício funciona o SENAC.
