PAREDE FRONTAL DA ANTIGA FABRICA DE GUARANÁ RIO NEGRO

Estabelecida no ano de 1950 no Boulevard Getulio Vargas (atual Praça da matriz) nº. 33, passa a funcionar a indústria do famoso guaraná Rio Negro, a industria tinha como proprietário e quimico responsável o senhor Armindo M. Auzier. A fabrica tinha capacidade para produzir diariamente, em média cerca de 50 caixas de 48 garrafas de 750ml. Cujo produto, além de Itacoatiara, era vendido nas praças de Urucurituba, Itapiranga, Silves, Urucará, Maués e até Humaitá, no rio madeira. A indústria de guaraná “Rio Negro”, não suportando a concorrência desleal dos produtos multinacionais, entrando no mercado com vantagens excepcionais, foi desativada em 1984.

BATALHA NAVAL – 1932 (TÉO BRAGA)

Em 1932 aconteceu no Rio Amazonas, frente a cidade de Itacoatiara, o combate naval, travado entre os revoltosos de Óbidos que haviam aderido a Revolução Constitucionalista de São Paulo, e as forças mandadas de Manaus, para comba-tê-los. Os navios legalistas eram ‘Inga” e “Baependi”, os dos rebeldes era o “Jaguaribe” e “Andira” os quais afundaram nas aguas do Rio Amazonas, em 24 de agosto de 1932.

GALERIA DE ARTES TEREZINHA PEIXOTO

A residência foi construida por volta de 1919, pelo Sr. Gregoriano Auzier, pai do ex-prefeito Armindo Magalhães Auzier, interventor Federal de Itacoatiara no periodo de 12/12/1966 a 14/09/1967. A casa tem sua arquitetura em estilo colonial, com caracteristicas das casas portuguesas, cujos modelos foram muito aplicados na época em que o Brasil era colônia de Portugal. Suas paredes são construidas de barro e tijolo. Apresenta cobertura com telhas de canal de barro, cujo material é um perfeito isolante térmico, o que torna agradável o seu habitat. em 1996, foi alugada para a produção do filme francês “Le Jaguar”, para hospedagem do diretor do filme.

RESIDÊNCIA DO CORONEL GONZAGA PINHEIRO

Capitão Gonzaga Tavares Pinheiro (1890 – 1978). Exerceu o cargo de prefeito municipal nomeado através do ato da Inventória Federal nº 1150, de 02 de dezembro de 1931.Nascido em Porteiras, estado do Ceara, em 08/12/1890 e faleceu em Fortaleza, as 23h:40 min. do dia 22 de fevereiro de 1978. Era filho de Joaquim Tavares Pinheiro e de dona Eglatina Pinheiro.Durante o periodo em que exerceu a chefia do municipio de Itacoatiara, o capitão Gonzaga Tavares Pinheiro mostrou coração de atitudes, sendo austero no trato da coisa pública e atencioso com seus municipes. Professor de matematica lecionou a alguns alunos que, mais tarde se destacariam entre eles João Valério de Oliveira. Foi exonerado do cargo comissionario de prefeito municipal de Itacoatiara, através do ato estadual de 26 de fevereiro de 1935.Gonzaga Pinheiro foi efetivado por ato de heroismo e bravura na batalha naval de Itacoatiara, no posto de capitão da extinta Força do Estado, em virtude do ato estadual nº 1.791, de 13 de outubro de 1932. Promovido por merecimento, ao posto de tenente-coronel da Força Policial do Estado de acordo com o decreto de 1º de agosto de 1946. Reformado no posto de coronel da Policial Militar do Amazonas, por decreto de 23 de janeiro de 1951.

Construido em 1948/1952 palco de de memoráveis partidas de futebol. encontro de times como Penarol, Náutico, Brasil, Luso, Rio Negro e de jogadores que foram revelados nesse estádio e que brilharam nos times da capital.

ANTIGA FABRICA DE BEBIDA XEXUÁ

A fabrica de bebida xexuá funcionou no antigo prédio "Anglo Brasileiro", depois definitivamente no antigo prédio da rua Quintino Bocayuva esquina com a travessa da rampa.
A bebida xexuá era um tônico revigorante que, submetido e aprovado pelo Instituto Bromatologico do Rio de Janeiro, resultou na famosa bebida xexuá, afamada pela propaganda como "tônico revigorante e poderoso estimulante sexual". Realmente os consumidores dessa aguardente em rodadas no café da Laura, no mercado Público ou na praça da matriz, cantavam boas e loas sobre os seus "efeitos".
Em 1954, o grupo passou a produzir o guaraná Guanabara. No final dos anos 1970 ocorreu o fechamento dessa Indústria, devido à concorrência desleal e falta de apoio às indústrias do interior amazonense.

TORNEIRA PÚBLICA

TORNEIRA PÚBLICA - CONSTRUIDA EM 1945 Último exemplar do primeiro sistema de abastecimento de água de Itacoatiara, construído na administração do prefeito Osório Fonseca em 1945, através do projeto de saneamento básico da antiga Fundação SESP, a qual contou com recursos internacionais para a instalação de água potável em vários pontos da cidade, nas principais esquinas, bem como, contou com a construção do reservatório da colônia, mais conhecido como caixa d'água, foi construída neste local, por trata-se de um dos locais mais altos da cidade, e isso facilitaria na pressão do escoamento de água para toda a cidade. Na caixa d'água, era estocada água para abastecimento das biqueiras, beneficiando a população itacoatiarense. Em 1998, a biqueira foi reativada, apenas com a colocação de uma nova instalação hidráulica e uma torneira nova, sem nenhum reparo estético em torno de sua estrutura física. Antes de 45, a população mais abastada se abastecia de água de poços artesianos particulares, enquanto a população de baixa renda apanhava água nas margens do rio Amazonas, do lago do jauary e do lago da prainha.

PRÉDIO DA ANTIGA MESA DE RENDAS - prédio construido pelo português Antonio Tavares Retto foi residência e comercio de Antonio Coelho um dos fortes comerciantes de sua época. Passou um longo periodo abandonado servindo como residência e refugio de bêbados e desocupados. Depois da reforma ocorrida em 2007, tornou-se um centro de saúde pública, foi cenário do filme Francês Lê Jaguar.

MERCADO MUNICIPAL, edificío construido em 1908/1912, foi iniciado na administração do Coronel Barbosa e concluido na administração de Manoel Joaquim da Costa Pinheiro, sendo os serviços administrados pelo português Antonio Pereira Tavares Retto que também construiu a antiga Mesa de Rendas do Estado que aparece ao fundo. O mercado Municipal foi demolido em 1978.

Fundadora da Congregação das Irmãs de Santa Dorotéia em Itacoatiara e do (Instituto N. Sra. Do Rosário de Fátima – “Coleginho”), Madre Rita de Cássia Dias foi a 1ª Madre Superiora da escola e Professora de Educação Artística.
O hino foi oficializado pelo Prefeito Municipal de Itacoatiara, Miron Osmário Fogaça em Março de 1997 e sua primeira apresentação oficial foi feita no 123º Aniversário de Itacoatiara e executado pelo Coral Municipal, rígido pelo Maestro Geraldo Dias da Rocha Junior.
